Adult Ministry

Kingdom Men, Kingdom Women, Kingdom Life, the Singles' Ministry, College and Armed Forces Ministry and a dynamic choir are the core adult growth opportunities at LCC.

Youth Ministry

LCC Youth Workers train, teach and disciple the youth of the Lawndale neighborhoods, taking full advantage of the church's gym, learning center, and other resources.

Philippian Ministry

The Philippian Ministry was established to encourage children and families in the North Lawndale Community that have a parent or spouse incarcerated. It strives to build long lasting relationships with the families, meet spiritual, material, emotional, social and educational needs and encourage the children and families to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Hope House/Nehemiah Discipleship House

Hope House was established to empower men who are striving to reenter society after prison and/or substance abuse to live for Jesus Christ.

Stephen Ministry

This year our church undertook a huge opportunity by establishing a Stephen Ministry, a lay caregiving ministry to people in our congregation and community who are going through difficult times in their lives.

ChristCare Ministry

ChristCare is a ministry where people can get to know one another in a small group setting. ChristCare members spend time building relationships and caring for one another, studying Godís Word and applying it to daily life, praying together and encouraging one another to grow as Disciples of Christ.

The House

The House is Chicago's only all youth and young adult Hip Hope worship experience. The House involves spiritual dancing, breakdancing, rap/freestyle session, drama/skits, step groups, Christian rap groups and powerful words from the Lord!

LCC ministers to our neighbors by addressing both physical and spiritual needs. Emergency assistance is available for families in crises. Temporary housing for homeless families is provided at the Samaritan House and those in need may receive food from our food pantry.

NA/AA Support Group

LCC offers a Christ-centered, 12 step support group for both men and women who are renewing their lives and overcoming addictions. The groups meet five days a week.

Ezra Homes

Ezra Homes is a housing program of United Power for Action and Justice of which we are members. The goal is to build 300 brand new affordable homes in Lawndale over the next two years.

Lou Malnati's Lawndale

LCC has partnered with the Malnati's family to bring Lawndale
a full service family restaurant committed to reinvesting all of the profits back into the community.
